Crate a Party

Crate a Party were recently asked  to help organise Mummy In The City's  daughters birthday party. Her chosen theme was Minnie Mouse and with a...wait for it... Hawaiian twist!  Here is what we came up with and read about  just what Mummy In The City thought of our service!

I love kids birthdays. I love the adrenaline before it starts and rushing around to prepare before guests arrive.

But I love it a lot more when I have all the little details ready.

The night before Big Girl’s fourth birthday party Daddy T and I were working our way through a bullet point list of how to set up the party table decorations and birthday banners. The list had arrived a couple of days earlier with a box full of party decorations from London kids birthday party specialist Crate a Party.

In the six weeks before organising Big Girl’s summer birthday party the kids and I were out of London on and off, and I had very limited time to buy party supplies. I did, however, have time to email Crate a Party details about the party theme from abroad, and review the fun and creative suggestions Lottie from Crate a Party sent back.

To make Big Girl’s Minnie Mouse birthday party a little bit different we went for a Hawaii theme, and Lottie organised an Hawaiian fringe with flowers to attach around the edge of the party table.

There were also pineapple centre pieces to go down the middle of the table, yellow leis for all the partygoers, Hawaiian party confetti for the table, flower hair ties for the girls’ party bags, matching customised party banners, welcome sign, party bag stickers and thank you cards to go with the party theme and much more.

I think Lottie has excellent taste in party decorations, and her creative approach to party planning means she is fantastic at thinking of every little detail that can tie in with the theme. For Big Girl’s Minnie Mouse Hawaii summer birthday party I would never have thought of attaching the cool fringe around the table, for example, and with the help of the Crate a Party bespoke service we managed to surprise Big Girl and her guests with a truly unique party table.

Crate a Party is the go-to kids birthday specialist for parents who have a venue and entertainer for a party, but would benefit from help with all the bits and bobs needed to make the kids birthday party extra special.

Excellent service and amazing decorations!
